Meetings are
held by the Society for its members on the last tuesday of each month at:

Meetings start
at 7pm and normally run till 10pm. Many members meet at the club, prior
to the meeting, and eat at the excellent bistro within the club.

The meetings take the form of open
discussion on antique arms and accessories brought along by members from
their collections. These meetings are mutually beneficial and
educational. Visitors are most welcome.

Period covered will be from the First Fleet (1788-), Maori Wars (1860s), the Sudan (1880s) and Boxer Rebellion (1900). |

Swords and edged weapons. A presention by Dr. Peter Busch on the manufacture of military swords with some reference to 19th century french swords and their influence on Russian sword design.

American firearms 1865-1918 (Indian wars 1865-1890; Spanish-American War 1898; through to WW1). Colt, Smith and Wesson, Winchester, Remington firearms etc.
